We will say the obvious first: Chronos is in Metairie, and nobody in Shreveport is driving to it. The Shreveport program exists because the parts of good weight-loss care that matter — a physician-directed plan, labs reviewed before you start, a provider who knows your chart at each follow-up, medication from a licensed pharmacy — do not require a building. What Northwest Louisiana gets is the same program that has treated more than 10,000 Chronos patients, delivered by video and by courier.
The Ark-La-Tex crosses two state lines, and telehealth follows the patient's location, not the clinic's. Our Louisiana-licensed providers see you when you are physically in Louisiana. If you live on the Texas side of the border, or spend your work week there, use our Texas telehealth program instead; the providers, prices and process are the same, and the visit is simply done under a Texas license. If you move across the line mid-treatment, tell us and we transfer you between programs without starting over.
Compounded
semaglutide and
tirzepatide are temperature-sensitive. Shipments to Northwest Louisiana leave in insulated packaging, shipping included. If a package arrives warm or damaged, contact us before using it. Brand-name prescriptions are sent to your Shreveport or Bossier pharmacy; we handle the prior authorization.

You can meet with our team from Shreveport or Bossier City without making the drive to Metairie.
If medication is appropriate, compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide can be shipped to your door. If you choose a brand-name option, we’ll send the prescription to your preferred local pharmacy.
Shipping is included with the compounded medication option.
Meet every 6 weeks with a provider who has your chart. We’ll check your progress, talk through side effects or plateaus, and adjust your plan when appropriate.
Follow-ups are included for compounded patients. Brand-name patients pay $99 per monthly provider visit.

No membership. No contract. Chronos does not bill insurance, Medicare or Medicaid for visits; HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and financing is available through PatientFi, Cherry and CareCredit. Compounded medications are prepared by 503A/503B pharmacies and are not FDA-approved products; they may be prescribed when medically appropriate.

No. Our clinic is in Metairie, about five hours away. The Shreveport program is entirely online: video visits, labs at Quest or Labcorp in Shreveport, medication shipped to your home.
No. Nothing in the program requires it. You are welcome at the clinic if you are ever in New Orleans.
Whichever state you are physically in during your video visits. Most Bossier patients do Louisiana visits from home. If you are usually in Texas on visit days, we enroll you in the Texas program; same providers, same prices.
