John has been personal training for 3 years and leading group fitness for 5 years. He has a BSc (HONS) Degree in Applied Sports Science with coaching from the University of Leeds in the UK. He is also an ACE certified personal trainer, with a background in strength and conditioning. He says the reason he became involved in fitness was due to him growing up involved in sports. This sparked his curiosity in learning about how the body works and led to him deciding to get qualified so that he could help people improve and progress.
